Putin promises the world a vaccine to treat cancer
أعلن الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين أن العلماء الروس على وشك إنتاج لقاحات للسرطان يمكن أن تكون متاحة قريباً. إلا أنه لم يوضح أنواع السرطانات التي تستهدفها تلك اللقاحات المرتقبة أو كيف تعمل.
في حين شرح الدكتور أحمد عبد الهادي أستاذ الأورام بكلية الطب جامعة المنصورة في مصر تفاصيل أكثر عن طريقة عمل اللقاح. وقال إن فكرة إنتاج لقاحات مضادة للسرطان تمتد لأكثر من 20 عاماً حيث حاول العلماء البحث عن لقاحات بالفعل تعمل على تقوية الجهاز المناعي للجسم.
كما أوضح أنها “تشبه فكرة وجود لقاح للتطعيم العادي ضد الفيروسات والأوبئة، حيث تعتمد على وجود انزيمات الحمض النووي الريبوزي التي تعمل على إصلاح الخلل الموجود في الأحماض النووية في خلايا الجسم والمؤدي لحدوث السرطان”.
إلى ذلك أشار إلى أن اللقاح يتكون من حامل للفيروس أو ما يعرف بالغلاف الفيروسي، وبه فيروس معروف بقدرته على مهاجمة خلايا الجسم والانتشار، ويتم تفريغه من الحامض النووي الخاص به، ثم وضع الحامض النووي المطلوب إصلاحه في الجسم داخل هذا الفيروس ومزجه بالأنزيم القادر على إصلاح هذا العطب والخلل المؤدي للسرطان. وختم مؤكداً أن كل ذلك يحدث قبل الوصول لمرحلة الورم السرطاني في الأساس.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russian scientists are on the verge of producing cancer vaccines that could be available soon. However, he did not clarify the types of cancers that these prospective vaccines target or how they work.
While Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hadi, Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University in Egypt, explained more details about how the vaccine works. He said that the idea of producing anti-cancer vaccines extends back more than 20 years, as scientists have tried to search for vaccines that actually work to strengthen the body’s immune system.
He also explained that it is “similar to the idea of having a vaccine for regular vaccination against viruses and epidemics, as it depends on the presence of RNA enzymes that work to repair the defect in the nucleic acids in the body’s cells that lead to the occurrence of cancer.”
In addition, he pointed out that the vaccine consists of a virus carrier, or what is known as the viral envelope, and it contains a virus known for its ability to attack the body’s cells and spread. It is emptied of its DNA, then the DNA required to be repaired in the body is placed inside this virus and mixed with the enzyme capable of repairing it. This defect and defect leads to cancer. He concluded by stressing that all of this happens before reaching the stage of cancerous tumor in the first place.
